Soulard market celebrates the holiday season this weekend

Soulard market (730, rue Carroll, 314-622-4180) puts its holiday spirit in the spotlight this weekend.
Carolers and Santa will be visiting the historic Farmer’s Market on December 11. Guests are encouraged to shop and purchase local produce and produce while celebrating the holiday season.
“The Soulard market is a must visit on weekends for dining and fun, and this Saturday will be even more festive as the holidays approach,” said Greg Hayes, director of the Parks, Recreation and Forests Department , in a press release. “St. Louis Parks, Recreation, and Forestry employees are working together to make our city celebrate the holiday season. ”
The singers will come from various organizations. Unleashing Potential, Soulard Education Center, Friends of God Christmas Carolers, St. Stephen Protomartyr Choral Club and Almost Home will all lend serenade shoppers their pipes with their favorite holiday songs. Santa Claus is to meet the children from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while the singers will be present from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The town foundry is also having a ‘WintrMarkt’ this weekend where you can buy gifts from local businesses.
