The Queen’s Baton passed through Preston today (Saturday July 16).

The Commonwealth Baton left Miller Park before heading through the city center to the Flag Market where it was greeted by the Mayor of Preston, Councilor Neil Darby.

The Flag Market hosted a penalty shootout from Preston North End Football Club, weightlifting with KAOS Gym, giant Jenga and Connect Four games, demonstrations from local boxing and martial arts clubs and a show of Caribbean Carnival dance.
