Actions of Apple outperformed the S&P 500 over the past year (+ 34.4% vs. + 26%). The Zacks analyst believes that Apple has benefited from the continued momentum in the Services segment and the strong performance of the iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Apple’s Services and Wearable business is expected to generate revenue growth in fiscal 2022 and beyond. AAPL’s service portfolio has become its new cash cow. Apple expects revenue for every product category to grow year over year except for the iPad, which is expected to decline due to supply shortages. Supply chain constraints from silicon shortages and COVID-related manufacturing disruptions remain a headwind.
Cisco stocks have gained + 29.7% during the year-to-date period against Zacks’ computer networking industry gain of + 27.1%. Zacks analyst is bullish on market dominance, innovation prowess, product line, growth initiatives and dividend payouts. Another major positive is the growth of orders in new markets.
Healthy adoption of identity and access security, advanced threat, and unified threat management solutions against a backdrop of high Internet traffic growth is likely to drive Cisco’s growth in the coming quarters. The acquisition of Acacia Communications is also auspicious. The risks of integration as well as fierce competition from small players remain headwinds, however.
Actions of Linde have gained + 7.3% in the last six months against a loss of -3.5% of the industry Zacks Oil and Gas – Field Services. Zacks analyst believes Linde is benefiting from the recovery in industrial gas demand at a time when industrial production is improving globally.
With a wide range of applications for its industrial gases, Linde is making the world more productive every day. Linde’s process gas, hydrogen, is used for clean fuels, while its high purity and specialty gases are used to make electronic components. Since the third quarter of last year, however, there has been a steady decline in the backlog of contractual sales of LIN gas products.
Other noteworthy reports we feature today include Exelon and Keurig Dr Pepper.
