Euros winning lioness Alex Greenwood hits the gym in Preston

English football and Manchester City star Alex Greenwood will make an appearance in Preston on Saturday November 26 to inspire the region’s future football stars.

The Lioness, who was part of the Euro-winning squad, will be in town for the official launch of Pro-Fit, a new state-of-the-art personal training facility that opened at Capitol Trade Park last month.

With the FIFA World Cup well underway, children from local football teams and schools were invited to the event to ask their questions to Alex during a Q&A session organized for local youngsters (and potential future English stars).

The Pro-Fit Open House is open to everyone and designed to give people a taste of what the personal training center has to offer. It will begin at 2 p.m. with an official ribbon cutting by South Ribble Mayor Councilor David Howarth.

There will be a wide range of fun and interactive activities to take part in – including personal training sessions, group training, cryotherapy and oxygen therapy, sports massage and advanced body scans.

As well as freebies and incentives, including the opportunity for luxury vacations.

Steve Butters, co-founder of Pro-Fit, said: “After opening our doors just over a month ago, we have been overwhelmed with the response, with our membership growing rapidly week on week. .

“We are building a friendly and inclusive fitness community and wanted to officially mark our launch with an event to give people the chance to come see what we are. We also wanted to give something back to the local community, so we brought in Alex to help inspire local kids (and adults).

“Our open event is designed to be a fun and relaxed afternoon, with the opportunity to come in and say hello, meet our coaches and members, train with us (if you wish) and check out our complete offer – including our new cryogenic chamber Everyone is also welcome to come and meet Alex from 4pm.

“Our doors are open between 2 and 6 p.m. and we look forward to welcoming as many people as possible.”

The Pro-Fit Open House will be walk-in, but you can pre-register to attend the events on the Pro-Fit Personal Training Page.
