Detroit Lions: NFL Writer Michael Silver Gets Shot On Detroit Lions Blog, Gets Destroyed On Twitter

Not all writers are created equal and when it comes to covering the NFL, Michael Silver, who was actually solid at one point in his career, has become quite the clown, especially when it’s about sharing his laughable takes on Twitter.

News broke on Friday that former Lions OC Anthony Lynn had been hired by the San Francisco 49ers.

Following the news, Silver took to Twitter to spit some trash.

“So to sum it up: Dan Campbell thinks he’s a better offensive mind than Anthony Lynn…but Kyle Shanahan wants Lynn’s brains in his building, helping cook up plays. Looks like Kyle might know more but…” Silver tweeted.

Following that tweet, Alex Reno, who contributes to local blog Detroit Lions Pride of Detroit, called out Silver for “flat lying.”

Silver responded by tearing down Pride of Detroit, calling Reno a “Fan Boy”.

“Nothing like being called a liar by ‘Pride of Detroit’ to defend an operation that…checks the ratings…didn’t have much success in 2021. Love you, Fan Boy,” Silver replied. .

Pride of Detroit writer Erik Schlitt also called out Silver, and Silver fired back by calling Schlitt a “fictitious” reporter.

Here is Schlitt’s answer.

Anyone who has EVER read what Schlitt has to say about the Lions knows he takes what he does very seriously and has forgotten more about football than Silver will ever know.

Because of this, the nation of Lions came to his defense.

Check it out.
